Pinup picnic

As some of you may know, Saturday 27th June is Pinup Picnic in the Park. This is an event that has been organised by The British Belles, and incorporates a massive meet-up in Hyde Park, London, whilst raising worthwhile funds for Macmillan Cancer Appeal.

Obviously this kind of event is right up my alley. When do I need an excuse to put on a big frock, hop on a train to London and have an adventure?

So, the point of my post? WHAT on earth do I choose to wear? As many of you know, I have a few dresses…. Just a few!

Most of the options I have are from the American Company, Pin Up Girl Clothing.

Yes, their clothes are slightly more expensive than some other companies, especially when you have Import Duty to pay, However it has been my experience that the quality, fit, design and material used by them is far superior.

Most of the items are satin lined, boned and the amount of material used in the skirts alone is immense! Total nightmare to iron though.

There are also a couple of Lindybop dresses that I am considering into the mix. I do love a good Lindbop dress, and I am pleased to say that I have many of them.

My last company is Lady V London. Again another amazing vintage style company that seems to be getting better and better! I’ve clearly got too many dresses to choose from!

So, guys and gals – Here are some of the options I’m considering…

What does everyone think? I have a couple of favourites myself, lets see if you think the same as me!

And for those of you planning to come along to Hyde Park: pray for the sun (and don’t forget the suncream)!
