LindyBop love

One of the loves of my life is LindyBop. This was really the first company that I ever tried when I started wearing vintage style clothing, and so far they have never let me down, with every single dress I have ever tried, becoming firm favourites AND perfect fits!

So…. when they had a “flash sale” with 20% off pretty much everything, Well that was just too much of a temptation for me!

Unfortunately due to a recent large Import duty bill for Pinup Girl clothing, I couldn’t order all the dresses on my wishlist (currently standing at 14) – But I did go ahead and order this beauty, as it had been top of the list for awhile.

The stunning Bella Dress in a tropic Hawaiian print really caught my eye when I first spotted it. The unusual colour combination is not one I already own, although I have many Lindybop Floral dresses.

The style of the Bella is very different, with a lovely sweetheart neckline, little capped sleeves, and fixed buttons down the front. The Back has a lovely green ribbon that you definitely need to tie up around the back, or the little sleeves have a tendency to slide down. It also makes a lovely addition to the dress itself.

This dress comes in several colour options, including plain blue, red and black and white floral, but I just couldn’t resist this tropical print with the mix of turquoise and hot pink – DIVINE!

Now, as I mentioned, I had never tried a Bella before, and was concerned that my boobs wouldn’t fit in it. But I was totally wrong. In fact, I think the dress did a great job in decently covering them up, whilst still showing off my feminine charms.

The skirt is lovely, but not as full as some of my other dresses, which makes for a bit of a change, and the summery style is perfect.

I took a chance and wore it to my local jive class on Friday night, and had lots of lovely compliments, and it was a pleasure to dance in. With just the right amount of movement and swing, it really did do the job!

If you are considering your first LindyBop purchase, you would be hard pressed to find a lovelier dress. It runs true to size, is made of a lovely thicker material which holds its shape and style well, and the pattern is just a total winner.

I could even see myself wearing this to a wedding, with the right accessories – a pair of kitten heels, maybe some little gloves, and of course a stunner of a hat!

As mentioned, I got this dress when Lindybop had a sale on, but even at full price, £29.99 is a bargain price for such a beautiful dress. I think I will probably get some of the other colour combinations too!
