The 4th of July will see me hit my 43rd birthday. I know, I don’t look a day over 20 I hear you say!
Well whilst I will be 43, I am still acting like a 20 year old. My late 30’s – 40’s have been the happiest years of my life, even with some trials, tribulations and bereavements. But they have been extremely happy.
I started blogging, had many adventures, met new friends, won some blogging awards, travelled a lot more and the best thing, seeing my daughters grow up into wonderful, independent, bright and fearless Women, who I am supremely proud of.
It has been brilliant.
Before this post gets any slushier, I thought I would have a look at things that I have on my wishlist for my birthday. I usually do this so it gives family and friends an idea of what they might like to get me for my special day (hint hint)
So without further ado, Here are a few little beauties I have my eye on and wouldn’t mind opening on the 4th.
I absolutely love these little bee earrings. They would go perfectly with my Oranges and Lemons skirt and they really are too cute.
Any of these amazing earrings would make my day. I have so many outfits and not enough accessories, so they would be right up my street. And they are only £6.00 a pair.
This brooch is the perfect colour combination to go with my blue peasant top and pink Neverland Jenny skirt.
This bag is just too adorable. I have nothing to match it with, but I don’t care. I simply love it!
A Slightly higher price point on this one, but I love Vendula bags and this is just beautiful. It also comes in white which would be more practical, however I prefer the deep pink version.
My last handbag choice is a silly little bag that has just captured my heart! I do love a good novelty handbag and it doesn’t get much better than this one from my friends website.
At only £30.00 I think it is an utter bargain and I need to get my hands on one.
I need to get myself some suitably vintage style shoes. These Rocket originals are divine, and would go with so many of my outfits and I am reliably informed they are super comfortable too! I have resigned myself to the fact that I can’t wear heels anymore, so these would dress things up perfectly
I have heard so many good things about B.A.I.T shoes and these are just so lovely. I can just about cope with a heel of this size, though no larger. They would match with lots of my looks, so again on the list they go.
Now, I know you must be asking yourself, “HOW MANY BANGLES?!?!?” And yes you may be right. There are a lot of bangles on this list. The reason being, is it is quite a vintage style to wear a “stack” of bangles. And so far I only own THREE bangles. And three bangles does not a stack make!
I would love any and all of these and with a starting price of £6.00 they aren’t going to break the bank (unless some kind soul wants to buy them all)
Now onto my favourites. The clothes!
I am mainly looking at a new range from Micheline Pitt, who was a designer at PUG for many years. She has started her own line and I am literally in love!
It is pretty tricky to decide just what is my favourite, but I would have to go with the Frisky print. Just so very different!
My last item on the wishlist is another pretty cheap gift. I love bath bombs, and the best one I have seen is the Radioactive Unicorn “You Can’t Sit With Us” Grenade.
The reason this one is so different is that it is a huge silver glitter covered Diamond. And I mean GLITTER.
However, once dropped in the bath, it turns into the deepest prettiest fuschia colour and smells like cherry bakewell.
I mean what more could a girl want?
These miraculous grenades are only £4.95 each, but as they are all made by hand by the fabulous Aimee Tink, they only go on sale every couple of weeks and as you can imagine, sell out REALLY quickly.
At that price, it would be silly not to get two or three, surely?
My very last choice is another bonkers item but I would love to own one. This umbrella would make me smile even if it was pouring down with rain as it is just so silly yet perfectly pink
So, there you have it. A round up of the things I would love to receive if I was a lucky girl.
What is your favourite item? Or are you not a fan at all? I would love to hear your thoughts
Till next time,
