Love it or hate it, the fact that it is only just over four weeks until Christmas means some of you are sitting calmly and comfortable, munching on a mince pie, safe in the fact that your presents are bought, wrapped, labelled and your cards are written and stamped, ready for posting.
However if you are like me you will be pulling your hair out, run out of wrapping paper and finding sellotape stuck to every part of you.
Well, I wish I could say that. However I am so behind this year that I have yet to buy even a single present!
This means I have gone into a literal meltdown.
I haven’t even written a list of who to purchase gifts for, let alone buy them.
So, instead of knuckling down and organising what I need to do, I thought I would spend several hours trawling through the internet looking for some gifts that may interest my readers instead!.
Am I procrastinating? Noooooo not at all!
So here for your delectation is a list of great goodies for your special loved ones that are a little more unusual than your regular toiletries gift set from that well know retailer.
For the adventurous One
How about a gift voucher for Predator Adventures? The latest thing to be hitting London in the New Year, February to be exact, you can purchase a ride in a glass cockpit Seabreacher watercraft. This boat is literally shaped like a killer whale and has the ability to leap out of the water like a whale!
The boat is a half submersible speedboat meaning the “Whale” will dive under and out of the water. What a rush!
Vouchers available here from just £89.
For the Animal Lover
How about the perfect clone of your loved ones pet? Cuddle Clones can do this by making a perfect copy of the beloved pet, right down to the last detail. Every colour, style and quirk of your pet can be brought to life as a soft toy, which I think is perfect to take away with you when you can’t be with your beloved animal. Horses, Dogs, Cats, you name it. Oh and a portion of sales go to Animal Charities too – Bonus.
I would have one made of Theodore in a heartbeat! They aren’t cheap but they are amazing. Prices start from $179.

For the Beauty Queen
Several months ago I saw a lot of hype about the StylePro Brush cleaner which claims that it can clean and dry your make-up brushes in an easy, non-messy way and in literally seconds.
Well of course, cynical me really doubted this could be true, however after having watched a lot of Youtube videos, I think this seriously could work!
Now available at Argos for the great price of £35.99 I think this could be a Christmas winner!

For the World Traveller
I first saw these in May of this year when I was looking for something different on Amazon, for my Brother In law’s birthday. Being a naval man, I knew he had visited many places around the World and saw this as something a little quirky yet fun too.
Basically it is a bit like a big lottery scratchcard, but there is no money to win. You get a coin and scratch off the top layer of a Country you have been to. Underneath are bright colours and you can show everyone exactly how well travelled you are.
And it is at a bargain price at the moment of only £15.39 at Amazon. Get yours here.
For the Sci Fi Geek
If like me you have relatives that are mental over things like Star Wars, this could be the answer to your every prayer.
Little metal figurines that you build yourself. R2-D2, AT-AT Walker, The Millennium Falcon and many more. All made out of duplex stainless steel. The models have a slot and tab design which means there is no glue or chemicals involved. Simply pop out the pieces, bend as per the instructions and build your design.
These are around £11 each, which won’t break the bank. Available from Geekyget here
For the Culinary Whiz.
I love “Not on the High Street” As they have some of the most unusual and ingenious gifts. Things you literally won’t see on the High Street or anywhere else, come to think of it.
This present just jumped out at me. A kit from Ross & Ross with the ingredients and instructions for curing Salmon in three different ways. Personally I think the Beetroot curing looks absolutely fantastic and I wouldn’t mind one of these kits myself.
At the moment they are on offer at just £15.40 available here
For the Snappy Dresser
As many of you will know, I simply adore my Chow Chow Theodore and these socks would be a perfect gift in my opinion. Both snazzy and bright, they would really stand out AND they feature pictures of your Doggy.
All you have to do is upload a photo, choose one of the many colour combinations and voila, a pair of sock featuring your pooch, or cat or even your horse. All needs catered for at Divvy Up Socks
The socks cost around $30 but I think they would make a great gift to open and certainly bring a smile to anyone’s face. Get a pair here
For the PotterHead.
Little Chick is a 100% CERTIFIED Potterhead. She quotes the books, she has tattoos, she has ALL the merchandise (almost) and her wardrobe is approximately 93% Harry Potter based. She lives for the franchise and buys everything she sees.
Currently she hasn’t seen these little beauties, so they may make it onto her present list this year.
Inspired by Eric does a range of Lego Figurines that are so “lego realistic” that it is possible to name who the character is without being told. They literally are that good.
Priced at £20 I think these are great value, and would please any Potterhead. However, if Dr Who takes your fancy, those are available too, as is much more including football stadiums.

For the Pampered Pooch.
Well you already know that I spoil Theodore whenever I can. And what better way to spoil him that with one of these handmade unique Pet Tipi’s. I think he would look adorable peeking out of one of these, and they fit over your regular dog bed to make a little den.
You can even have them Monogrammed to make them more personal, which I think is so cute, I really need to get one of these.
Prices start at £59 from Not on the High Street Here
For the food lover
Now, I love a good afternoon tea. Cakes and champagne, or varied types of tea appeal to me greatly and I have been lucky to try out quite a few establishments including Sketch and Claridges in London
However an afternoon tea with a difference is this one from Virgin experience days.
Cream cakes and cocktails at Mr Foggs Gin Parlour for two people is something I would love to try!
The Parlour has over 300 different gins on offer, with thousands of flavour combinations. At only £48 for two, I think this is a fantastic gift for a lucky couple.

For the person you have no clue what to buy.
I have been aware of The Biscuiteers brand for a little while now and am always in awe of their creations. You can get the most perfect iced biscuits in everything from a gin bottle to a first aid kit to Beatrix Potter characters.
However their Christmas range is just gorgeous. Everything from “The 12 days of Christmas” to “The Nutcracker” and more. Snowglobes, snowmen, decorations and my personal favourite, The Nativity are all covered.
I just love the whole set of characters in The Nativity, especially the curly haired sheep and it comes in a special box too. Perfect for the festive season.
However if Religion is not something you want to take a chance on, how about one of their other Christmas ranges available here from just £6.00.
So there you have it. Quite a list of goodies for the loved ones in your life, both human and animal.
Are there any favourites here? What would you choose from my list.
Till next time,
