Over the past few months I have purchased a couple of Joe Brown items from Ambrose Wilson including the amazing vintage style dotty dress which I have worn numerous times and is still available and a steal at just £20.
Dotty Print Jersey Dress
This dress is such a dream to wear, stretchy jersey which fits and flatters the body whilst giving a great shape (especially to those boobs) and can be worn for just about any occasion. It really hits the spot – pun intended.
Anyway, following the success of that dress I was pretty excited to see another jersey dress with a classic styling on offer in a Christmas print; think robins, bows, holly and fir boughs and you are right on the ball.
I am talking about the Rocking Robin Jersey dress.
Rockin Robin
The dress has a lovely ruched side which skims and flatters the body, even in the biggest of sizes. I ordered this in my normal size 26 and I can happily report that it is true to size.
Christmas Posing
As soon as I put the dress one, I felt both comfortable yet quite feminine. The print is cute and festive, however still is very classy; it hits the Christmas spot without being tacky or over the top.

Really Rockin’ it
So, how do I plan to style it?
With a gorgeous hair flower I got from Pin Up Curl a few years back and is still fabulous. Pair that with the snowman bangles and bauble earrings that I recently reviewed on a Black Friday sale from Luxulite and possibly my knee high button boots.
Perfect Hairwear
The dress would also be a perfect to transition into an evening drink after work or a spot of dinner with good company.
Not bad from the rear either
Add some sparkling earrings, little strappy heels and a different floral accessory and the transition is seamless.
Festive Frolics
I have to say, the quality of this dress is superb; heavyweight jersey which is beautifully cut. Priced at £45 it is worth every penny, and it will be a festive wardrobe staple for years to come.
Loving this look
Just change up the accessories and turn it into a whole new look.
