Plus Size and Proud

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know all about the photoshoot I did with the amazing Velvet D’Amour at the super elegant and fabulous Sugnall Hall.

What? You missed it? Ahhh well, that is okay you can see it all here and here

Now I had chosen my top ten photographs and was torn between showing you them all at the same time, or sharing them one at a time.

Part of me is so proud of them that I wanted to announce them all, but knew if I did then I would have nothing more to share. So here is part two.

My Hair and Make-up was wonderfully done by Rachel  and I just wish I could recreate it!

One of my favourite Pin Up Girl Clothing Dresses – The Monica in Glitter Lurex

I love both of these images so much. But why?

Well, yes my hair and make-up are professionally styled, but the rest is all me. The only thing fake is the eyelashes.

So, what do I see?

The large tummy bulge.

The big upper arms.

The supersized boobs.

The curvy bottom.

The rolls of flesh.

And whilst in the past I used to hate it all. Now I love it. I am happy with me.

This body suffers with a chronic pain issue. Is medicated for depression. Has carried children. Works hard and now plays even harder.

Is living life to the fullest and having the most marvellous adventures.

Yes, I am Fat. I don’t see any shame in that word. It is what I am.

But you know what? I doesn’t stop me from doing and experiencing exciting new things.

I am proud of it. I am proud of me.

It took a long time to say that out loud. Now I want to shout it!

Till next time
