As many of you know, I have an ongoing relationship with Shein Clothing, where they regularly send me clothing to review.

Reviewing It

However, I also purchase items from them myself. This has included clothing, hair accessories, make-up and even household items.

My Own Purchase

So, I was having a mooch online and bought a few bits from Shein which included an absolutely gorgeous dress that I never would have previously looked at.

Bright yellow and very clingy, it featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and a mermaid hem.

Yellow Peril

I knew the dress would cling to every curve, but something really drew me to it. I threw it in the bag with a few other bits (mainly swimsuits) and wondered if I had made a big mistake.

Big Bird?

When it came, I was even more sceptical. It looked quite small and I am quite big!

Anyway, I ploughed ahead and gave it my all.

Quite a Profile

I think it turned out pretty good. The material was really substantial and had a lot of stretch to it.

It clung in all the best places, but also flattered the places that didn’t.

I’m a Fan!

The yellow is a really lovely shade too; not quite mustard and not sunshine. I honestly think that it could be paired up with a range of colours for a stunning impact.

In this case I went with a brown wig and shoes. It was such a hot day, I added my brown feather fan but forgot to pick up my handbag!

Going ahead I do think I will look at pairing this with something totally different. Black or maybe Navy?

Loving the Silhouette

To be honest, I have the accessories in both colours so I might give it a go anyway.

I even have a short black bob wig that I think could look pretty spectacular. To be honest, even if it doesn’t, I have a dozen or so wigs PLUS my own hair to choose from.

Peek-A-Boo

Given one of my recent posts featuring a plethora of Lulu-Hun shoes, I have a multitude of shoes to mix with it, so I guess I could go really wild.

Yummy Yellow

I have seen that this dress comes in Black too, which in recent years I would have stayed far away from, but I am liking the idea of the neutrality of black with a really striking secondary colour.

Hot pink springs to mind!
