Recently I have been seeing a lot of advertisements for Savage X Fenty, the lingerie line from Rihanna.

Looking over the stunning items on offer, I was amazed to see that many of them went up as far as a 4XL.

Well, that is the size I wear so I wondered if it was worth ordering a few things and having a go. It seemed almost an omen when a huge sale came online and it was stupid to not give it a try.

I ordered several items, panties, bralettes and some nightwear. I was excited at the thought of finding new options to wear and also I had a photoshoot coming up and it would be an opportunity to give these a try.

So what did I order and how did it fit?

My first choice was a dazzling silver lame bed jacket which you could buy as a stand-alone piece, or get matching shorts, mini skirt and bralette to match.

Now, I had a good look at the bralette and decided that no matter how big a size it went up to, the material was so skimpy that it would never work on my huge chest.

Not a Chance!

It features ties on the shoulders and even the smallest of models looked barely held into it.

That then left the decision on a either the shorts or skirt.  This is where practicality came into play and I decided to go with the french style shorts.

I then added some lacy high-cut knickers with complimenting bralettes. In this case, the Floral Lace Cheeky in black, Savage not Sorry in Teal/Green

The two bralettes were intended to match the knickers so I went for the Floral Mesh Bralette  in black and hunter green.

Sadly not for me, either

All of these items were ordered in 4XL.

I was so excited to give everything a try and when the parcel arrived on my doorstep, I eagerly rushed upstairs to try everything on.

First of all were the bralettes, sadly, they were a total disappointment.

Whilst the bralette had enough stretch and was big enought to go around me, there was no depth or ‘cup’ to it, which meant there was absolutely nowhere for my breasts to go.

Strike one!

Second were the fancy panties. I did wonder if these would be more picturesque than practical. However, I have to admit that they are really lovely to wear and really make your bottom look good.

I honestly think I will be ordering more of them as they are super comfortable and also very sexy.

The black pair have three tiny diamante buttons up the back which are real working buttons. They add such a cute dimension to what would be a normal looking pair of knickers.

Black Panties

My second pair were chosen just simply for the colour. Irish Kelly Green and Dark Teal make a stunning combination, let alone the addition of a sexy T bar top with a gold X logo coin.

Again they fit so very well and are actually comfortable enough to wear all day!

The last set was the one I was really waiting for; the silver lame bed jacket and shorts.

Silver Lady

Like something out of the 1970’s, this disco-tastic lame jacket really gave me angelic vibes too. I chose to try and do something slightly different so added some high silver heels.

The fit was spot on; the shorts have a little button fastening which ensures a very good fit around the waist, whilst the pleated fabric gives a great amount of cover and movement.

Silver Shortie

I am a little gutted that I couldn’t get a matching bralette, but the combination of the shorts and jacket work really well and I could always add a little strappy vest top for decency.

All in all, I have come away a big fan of the Savage X Fenty range and I am sure these won’t be the last purchases I make!
