When I went to Bali in November, I knew that my Bestie Boo was there every step of the way. I didn’t have any worries or fears as together we could move mountains.
Of course I don’t mean literally move mountains.
We could, however tackle any issue and solve it with a little thought and spit-balling some ideas.
What I didn’t expect to get on that trip to Bali, was a whole group of like minded ladies. Complete strangers (apart from Boo) there were eleven guests and Kirsty, the organiser, in total. We spent 11 -12 days together and it was life changing AND life affirming.
Out of that holiday I gained something else; something far more valuable.
The Bad Ass Bitches also known as The Eurobitches.
Five of us had formed quite a strong bond on the trip and vowed to stay in touch. Only three months had passed and we were already getting ready to meet up.
Daiane who is Portuguese lives in Germany, Rachel is from the USA but lives in a different part of Germany and the fabulously pink & purple haired Lisa is a Londoner. Of course add in Boo and I, and we are the Fabulous Fat Five.
Queue up 4 days in a private house in London.
Throw in Afternoon Tea, Hidden London Adventures, Theatre time and a little bit of shopping. Add some alcohol (for those who choose to) and a lot of good food and there should be 5 happy ladies all round.
All I need to do now is find the outfits that I want to wear in London, especially the homage that I wish to pay to Ursula the Sea Witch when we go and see ‘Unfortunate’ at the theatre.
I may have purchased these shoes JUST for the show.
Of course, I don’t plan on walking in them, but using the wheelchair for getting around, I won’t need to worry about that.
There is also no worry that I will be getting dressed up for the Bridgerton afternoon tea which we are partaking of at ‘The Lanesborough’. Well, only in my normal style of clothing and not 18th Century Regency style.
A few years ago the family took part in an adventure in London called ‘Moriarty’s Game’ where you had to solve clues that took you all over a certain part of London until you cracked the case.

The ladies and I will be taking part in another Hidden London game involving The Cheshire Cat and based all around the Covent Garden/Strand area.
I have my trusty Alice in Wonderland dress which I will dig out for that as it couldn’t be more perfect. I don’t have any Alice in Wonderland shoes, but I do have some cute little boots that might go well.
We are also planning on visiting two of my favourite areas, Spitalfields and Brick Lane. Beigels all round?
Anyway, I will be posting on Social Media all about our mini-break and you can be sure I will be showing off the outfits, especially those shoes!
