Well, Theodore (the Majestic, to give him his full name) was a huge fan. In fact he scoffed the lot right down and wanted seconds. So, when Mat from Pure Pet Food got in touch again, I was more than happy to spread the Doggy word!

The food that the guys from Pure Pet Food make is healthy, low processed and is packed full of great ingredients.
Although traditional dry biscuit and tinned pet food provides a cheap and often economical option, many owners such as myself are increasingly aware of the low quality of ingredients and extreme heat and pressure used during manufacture.

Healthy alternatives include raw and fresh cooked pet food, which although provide far higher levels of nutrition, come at a much higher price. These healthy options have a short shelf life, require me to freeze or refrigerate, taking up valuable storage space. Owners must then remember to defrost ahead of meal times, (which I never remember to do!)
The guys at Pure have developed a unique dehydration and freeze dry process which removes the water from their recipes, preserving them whilst retaining the goodness and nutrition of the human grade ingredients. This means I could mix this up and eat it myself!!
It is literally as simple as adding warm water to the mix then serve, providing a fresh, warm and wholesome meal in minutes.

Pure boasts a 12 month shelf life, combining the longevity of a processed biscuit, whilst retaining the health benefits of premium fresh and raw food.Unlike these other super healthy options you don’t need to freeze or refrigerate Pure, meaning I am not filling my valuable freezer and fridge space up with doggy meals!

Perfect in every way in my opinion.
However, the main opinion belongs to Theodore. As you can see from the photographs and video, he is a real fan and there was very little left!

Just too cute
One of the things we love the most about this food is that Theodore has to have a wheat free diet. This is not due to some stomach issue, but the fact that Chow Chows are prone to getting hotspots; It starts as an itch and they worry away at it until they have made a big sore. Their fur falls out and the scratch like mad at the scabs. Wheat doesn’t help the situation so we have to be careful what he eats.
Pure is literally perfect for him.
In this particular box, it was full of the following –
13 Chicken Breasts
20 Parsnips
400g of Chicken Liver
6 Potatoes
4 1/2 bunches of Carrots
500g Green Beans
2 1/4 Apples
1 Cabbage
This probably more vegetables than I eat in a month!
